P – Philadelphia
D – Denver
S – San Francisco
Your purchase should be reflective of the percentages of the total mintage. This is based on quantity of minted coins. After figuring the number of coins that are sitting in collections or lost, the numbers may be even less (circulation). The older dates will be more prone to be sitting in collections leaving a higher percentage of newer coins in circulation and less of the older ones.
