Description
Bondo® Body Filler is a two-part putty compound used to repair dents, dings, holes, rusted areas and scratches in vehicle exteriors. The filler cures fast, shapes in minutes and is formulated to be non-shrinking and permanently durable. This is the original formula for quickly and easily repairing metal surfaces, as well as wood, fiberglass, concrete and more.

Safe Handling Instructions:
WARNING! OXIDIZER. FLAMMABLE LIQUID AND VAPOR. CAUSES EYE IRRITATION. MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC SKIN REACTION. WARNING! Hardener Hazards: OXIDIZER. Causes eye irritation. May cause allergic skin reaction. Filler Hazards: Vapor harmful. May irritate the nose and throat and cause dizziness, headache or nausea. Intentional misuse by deliberated concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. Contains a chemical (s) which can cause cancer. PRECAUTIONS: Vapor may cause flash fire. Keep away from heat, s, flame and sources of static discharge. Avoid eye contact. Do not get on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing dust or vapors. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not swallow. Wash thoroughly after handling. Close container after each use. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. FIRST AID INFORMATION: EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Get immediately medical attention. SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Immediately flush skin with large amounts of water. Get medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing and clean shoes before reuse. INHALATION: Remove person to fresh air. If signs/symptoms develop, get medical attention. IF SWALLOWED: Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention.
Instructions:
. 3M Body Repair System. Fill, repair, sand, and feather. Directions (Read all directions and warnings for safe and proper application.). 1. Clean surface with warm, soapy water or a residue remover. Allow to dry. 2. Sand the damaged area with coarse 80 grit sandpaper to remove all paint, primer and rust down to bare metal. Sand 1-2 inches beyond damaged area. 3. Mixing: Knead cream hardener tube thoroughly. For a golf ball-size amount of filler, squeeze out 1 1/4 inch strip of hardener, or mix a 3 inch diameter circle 1/2 inch thick of filler to a 3 inch strip of cream hardener. Mix thoroughly to uniform color to clean, non-porous surface. Mix only small amounts that can be used within 3-4 minutes. Do not add cream hardener in filler container. Spread initial thin layer of mixed filler over repair area using firm pressure to ensure maximum adhesion. 4. Allow filler to cure 20-30 minutes. Sand with 80 grit sandpaper and featheredge with 180 grit or finer. 5. Apply 2-3 coats of primer to cover repair area. Follow paint manufacturer's recommendation. Sand with fine (320 or 400 grit) sandpaper. Optional: Apply a very thin layer of Bondo® Glazing & Spot Putty to fill pinholes or small imperfections if necessary. Sand with 320 or 400 grit sandpaper and top coat with primer and paint. For best results apply at 45° F (7° C) or above. Clean tools with acetone or lacquer thinner.
