REPLACEMENT FOR FRIGIDAIRE 216715500 ALL REFRIGERATOR COLD CONTROL THERMOSTAT

This cold control replaces the original for far less money. Part# is only used to tell you what this item can replace as it is not an OEM part.
You do need to drill or punch 2 small holes- about 1/8" - in the evaporator cover to mount this as it does not clip in like the original does, so that is why the picture of my part is different from the OEM part. My picture shows EXACTLY what the part looks like!
Don't buy this then complain that it's not physically the same as yours- save yourself  aggravation and just buy the OEM for way more. If you are buying this for someone else to use then be sure they know what they are getting. They will simply look at the part and say that it won't work without even bothering to read the simple installation instructions.
