  • Condition: Stunning painting of a Russian village in the winter. In the background you see a crescent moon in a midnight sky high above a Church with six large crosses on its roof. To the left a couple ice skate on a frozen lake while children ride their sleds down a hill. A young woman water carrier is seen tending her livestock in the lower right corner and her cat is on the roof of the barn. In the forefront a team of three noble horses pull a sleigh with passengers through the winter landscape. There is a mystical element when viewing the piece as all the various colors appear to dance from the page. It is framed and matted behind glass. Signed in the lower right-hand corner but all I can make out is what appears to be EKA. With frame it measures 13 and ½ inches by 11 inches. It has a Dutch Art Gallery Label On the back and a label that describes the glass cleaning tips. There is a card in the pocket on the back and it is signed although I cannot read it.

There is a mystical element when viewing the piece as all the various colors appear to dance from the page. It is framed and matted behind glass. Signed in the lower right-hand corner but all I can make out is what appears to be EKA.  With frame it measures 13 and ½ inches by 11 inches. I am unsure if the word in quotation marks is the tile of the picture or not. Any information would be appreciated. It is framed, matted and wired and ready to hang. Thanks for looking.
