Vintage Hardwood LOROMAN Double Upright Clothes Valet / Stand solid hardwood wood construction - wood appears to a type of mahogany double uprights measurements - back upright 40+1/4" high; 17+1/2" wide / base 14" by 14+1/4" / front upright 32" high; 14+1/4" wide; single piece solid wood coat/jacket hanger (note most wood valets have a 2-piece finger-jointed hanger) with LOROMAN label solid wood (not hinged or sectioned) uprights solid wood base with plastic removable swivel casters brass finish metal tie/belt holders solid wood milled tray/shelf both uprights fasten to the base with bolt joints back upright - glued joints for hanger; bolt joints for shelf and rail front upright - glued joints for hanger; bolt joints for rail base assembly - glue joints for rails label on underside of shelf - Made In Taiwan All of the glue joints are tight. The two uprights are easily removable from the base. The uprights and casters will be removed to accommodate the smallest shipping carton possible. Re-assembly of the base is very simple with use of a screw driver. Casters are easily inserted into cups by hand. The clothes valet is in excellent condition. The valet has been cleaned and lightly sanded; minor scuff marks and scratches stained as closely as possible to the original color; professionally sprayed with several coats of clear top coat lacquer to preserve and and enhance the original light oak color and finish; and hand rubbed. My claim is that the new finish is better than the factory finish. I am confident that you will be favorably impressed with the finish. Pictures are of the actual stand. Variation in color among the photos is the result of color and light balancing, and exposure. The valet weighs 7 pounds. To adequately and safely ship the valet "calculate shipping" is based on a 11-pound parcel (estimated parcel size 38" x 19" x 7").
