    Description

    An early figurine of a Bloodhound dog by Dannyquest Designs of California, well known for their dog sculptures. This is a gorgeous example of a Bloodhound, with accurate detail and realistic air brushed decoration. The dog is depicted in a show pose (Dannyquest sold their wares at dog shows). The company moved on from this medium into cold cast bronzes, for which they are well known today. I remember these early models being sold at dog shows, circa 1970s. They have become quite difficult to find today. This figurine measures 9 1/4" tall by 9 1/4" long. A rarity for the Bloodhound collector!
